By: Stephen Price, Wed May 30th, 2007
Since I recovered from panic disorder and agoraphobia, people often ask me what the major turning point in my recovery was. There were many turning points, but if I had to choose just one, I would pick the night I made a deal with God in one of my darkest hours of fear. That’s because it changed the orientation of my life.

Online Counseling Effective and Easy The debate is over. Online services are growing in every market and field, and therapy is no exception. With technology today, clients can get a wide array of counseling services via the Internet without ever leaving their home. Soft Addictions - Signs
By: Judith Wright, Wed May 30th, 2007
Here are a couple ways to help you see the line between a soft addiction and a productive activity more clearly: Zoning out. A good way to identify a soft addiction is to notice whether or not you zone out as you are doing it. When we are zoned out, we are not fully engaged. We may be daydreaming or have a “no one is home” expression plastered on our face. Zoning out implies that the goal of our activity is to become numb.

We get to the office only to be greeted by whiney employees and our boss who tells us the report we spent six hours on yesterday isn’t complete and she needs it in an hour. And its only 9 AM! So what’s the secret to staying cool, calm and composed while maintaining our self esteem in a tough environment? Here are a few tips to think about as a starter guide to self improvement.

Harmful and Addicting Activities
By: Judith Wright, Wed May 30th, 2007
Soft addictions are any habitual, mindless conduct or mood. Very obvious ones are watching TV, eating too much, Internet surfing and video game playing. There are also numerous others existspreading rumors, daydreaming, working out, feeling sorry for oneself, shopping and the like. Nearly all parents are not alarmed by this type of conduct, assuming rightly that theyre “normal”. These behaviors become abnormal and harm your children’s growth as soon as they become routine, robbing kids of the time, energy and incentive to participate in more important activities.
